Christie Hardwick Vianson
Christie Hardwick Vianson is the leader and founder of the “Stepping up with Spirited Christie has over 22 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations and grass root-organizing efforts. She holds a Masters degree in Organizational Development, is a Senior American Leadership Forum Fellow and a member of the Women's Leadership Board for the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Christie has held executive positions in Change Management, Human Resources and Organizational Efficiency. She is a speaker in a variety of forums and provides life-coaching services to several clients across the United States.

Trustee – Fremont Unified School District

Key Accomplishments

  • Twice elected with the highest number of votes in both elections.
    (30,000 students, $120 million budget)
    • Successfully led negotiations for two rounds of contract settlement with the teachers union.
    • Chaired board through the deepest cuts in its history, keeping most of the pain out of the classroom.
    • Awarded State Gold Award by the California Teachers Association, rarely bestowed upon recipients outside of the teaching profession.


Co-Founder – Fremont Education Foundation

Providing funding to the school district earmarked for retaining their music programs.

Founding Chair – Greatschools.net
A non-profit organization, providing comprehensive on-line guide to public schools nationwide.

 

Politics
Political Consultant – Tramutola Company

Key Accomplishments

  • Provided political campaign consulting services to public service clients.
  • Successfully managed seven school district bond campaigns throughout California in one year. Total funds made available to schools for deteriorating facilities exceeded $500 million.
